Online Safety & Computing Workshops
After parental requests, the summer term parental & child workshops will be computing with a focus of online safety. Following each workshop the information shared, photographs of the session and feedback from parents will be shared.
Year 3 Workshop - 20th June 2023
The workshop today focused on the smart rules in how we can apply these to using technology and accessing the internet, online privacy in how your personal information can be used, stored processed and shared online and strong passwords. We also talked about the USO page and the parental information section showing the parents really useful section that support them with computing and technology.

Year 6 Workshop - 13th June 2023
The workshop today focused on passwords, phishing and parental controls on wifi and devices. We discussed the importance of having and how to create a strong password before moving onto what phishing was and how we can best avoid this and protect ourselves from this. We then shared documents with the parents on how to set up parent controls on their broadband home wifi with a range of companies as well as common devices that they may have at home.

Year 5 Workshop - 8th June 2023
